Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented Ltd (AAEGT)–A National Association established in 1985 which recognized the importance of the education and welfare of gifted children in Australia.
Gifted Families Support Group –A non-profit organization run solely by volunteers. The Association is affiliated with the AAEGT and is designed to provide supports for families and educators of the gifted children through various events that highlight the needs of them in their communities.
Australian Gifted Support Centre –A service that offers a range of supports to the gifted children, their families in NSW, ACT, and VIC.
The Queensland Association for Gifted & Talented Children – It is a state and member-funded incorporation aiming to help the gifted children, their families and their educators who live in Queensland.
Victorian Association for Gifted and Talented Children – A non-profit association that leads by parents and educators in identifying and supporting the gifted and talented children in Victoria schools.
The Northern Territory Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented – a membership-based and non-profit service that aims to improve the gifted and talented children’s holistic development through different activities, developmental workshops, and appropriate resources.
There are various resources for families and educators to identify the gifted and talented children by using intelligent test, checklist, rating scales and professional assessments.
