Gold Leaf restaurant is just of Ballarat Road and is one of the popular Chinese restaurants. It had positive reviews and is very difficult to get a table in the weekends. The most popular dish was the yumcha. Apart from this, there is a good variety of Chinese foods. We tried the roasted pork $23.5 that was known for its crispiness, seasoned roasted duck $26.5 and stir fried mixed vegetables $21.5 along with special Chinese style fried rice $18.5. Desserts were the standard format of the Chinese restaurant. We tried the banana fritter and the ice cream. The service people were courteous but they struggled when trying to speak English. This added to the aura of being in a new place that transported the people to a newer vision.

We then visited the Flemington Farmers market. It only operates on Sunday and sells fresh organic Australian produce. Apart from this, it also sells freshly produced baked goods and meat. There are some fun activities that are also organized. The coffee that is sold in the farmer’s market was noteworthy and refreshing. They enable the people to experience the Australian relaxed lifestyle and also exposes the people to the importance of freshly produced goodness. It gives a refreshing feel to the visitors.
