According to statistic most of the students in highs school start smoking because of anxiety caused by reasons like pressure from the peer and the pressure of looking good among other girls. Pressures like this develop during the teen and grow in to serious anxiety and addiction issues. The mind set of individuals about minorities living in US is still present. The seeds of this mind set are transferred from one generation to another. Still in many parts of the country traditional white people consider minorities as low class and refuges living in United States (Pollock 223).

The story of Victor is common and can be observed in every other girl coming from different region especially from African region. US have been benefited from this diverse workforce but the social issues like race discrimination and inequality serve to be major indicators in the country. These issues need to be resolved so the economic gap between the normal white people and these minorities can be overcome. Victor was married and was contended from her life and appearance after she made peace with herself. She concentrated on her academic abilities and became confident to about her abilities. She decided to work on her abilities so she can gain competitive advantage over others on her mental strengths. Looking at your personality and appearance in the way others want to see you become difficult and challenging to cope up with the real personality. In all these pressures the real identity is lost and becomes vague to an extent. The only reason to resolve all these issues is by concentrating on the personal abilities more than appearance.
