A team for evaluation of outsourcing should consider including the members from the organization of supply chain, sales, and accounting or finance (Deepen et al., 2011). The decision along with the evaluation should have considered an analysis of cost, analysis for the performance gap, opportunities in finance, and suitability with respect to operations conducted on outsourcing.

Analysis of cost should have been including all of the costs of operations related to operational activities that include those amounts of costs that are supposed to be transferred to the Apex, partner of service. These costs are the ones that will end up staying in the organization for a longer duration of time (Wallenburg, 2009). By following all of these steps, the organization of Helix should have considered these steps in order to be successful in its operation of logistics outsourcing.
