In the globalized economy, it is imperative for the nations to focus on having a common language. There is a lack of English speaking staff and personal in the nations. Some of the companies try to provide training in the language. There is limitation in the training of the soft skills to the employees. There is an ethnocentric approach that is formulated for teaching the staff of the technical developments. This is found to aide in the productivity of the company. There is however a lack in the interaction of the employees with their global peers working in different office locations.
In China, there is training for the technical aspects and latest infrastructural development is forged in the nation. However, there is a lack in the soft skill training of the people.

In India, there was less focus on the training and development programs that were provided to the employees. It was considered to be a costly process and it was believed until recently that it was not worth the efforts. Only in the past few decades, there has been increase in the training and development programs. The training programs are usually technical training that is devised to improve the productivity of the employees. There are very little efforts done to improve the processes (Chatterjee, 2007). There is a lack in soft skill managerial training that is provided to the employees.
