Mixed methodology has been chosen for this particular study. According to Onwuegbuzie and Leech (2006) the mixed approach is a process that collects, analyzes and links quantitative and qualitative data in a single study or a series of investigations to address a problem statement. Data gathered will aid in developing a questionnaire to explain the impact of online customer reviews on online shopping of cosmetic products. The questionnaire will be provided to another section out of the acknowledged population.
The researcher, in this particular study, will make use of the exploratory mixed approach (Creswell 2005, p. 67). This standpoint refers to the main objective of the research, which are the dynamic forces at the back of all procedural approaches (Creswell 2005, p. 70).
