The study concludes that Haier is at present in growth phase and still needs to improve a lot in terms of HR policy, organizational development, employee retention strategy, services and so on. This brand has to analyze the expectations of the markets as well as employees.
It can be understood that the HR strategy of Haier is like a “Race Track” where every employee and manager keeps on racing for rewards and responsibilities. This strategy creates mental pressure, grapevine rumors, stress, conflict, absenteeism, back biting, cheating, jealousy and bureaucracy within the organization. There is no unity among groups and employees at Haier instead of working as a team; tend to work as individuals within a team. No business can sustain for a long while when there is no unity between employees and internal resources. A high cohesiveness among employees will result in the success of the company and a lack of it will obviously lower down the productivity. Hence, group work should be encouraged within the organization and the organization must encourage all employees to work as teams.
To conclude, Haier must change the present HR strategy and change it appropriately such that it meets the requirement of all employees in addition to motivating them to work in a group or as a team rather than as an individual.
