Summative 1 –EvidenceBased Practice
Evidence based practices is the approach in the nursing or medical areas where it is required of the research based studies and analysing the future perspective based on their research. This explains the research by using the medical or nursing areas norms provided by the medical council. Basically, the main use of evidence based practices is to find out the relevant information or literature for the concern topic in the field of nursing or medical. This evidence based practices is very much important in the area of nursing or medical or can say in clinical research. It describes the complete analysis and argues to the approaches that have been used in the previous research papers which are basically based on the decisions. (Hepler CD et al, 2003)
The evidence based practices use the effective searching strategy to find out the most relevant literature for the nursing related field. In case of finding the relevant literature for the discussion and analysis of the use of the stethoscope and its importance, the use of Wiley, science direct etc. electronic literature database can be used. It also depends on the way you are searching the literature either by the name, sentence or author name.(Devine EB et al, 2007)
