Ethics in management can be viewed from different perspectives i.e. accounting, sales, marketing, financial and human resource. The requirement of each of them may be different. It may be difficult to maintain and highlight ethical behavior in certain aspect while it may be the case that standard code of conduct in certain management perspectives is available. For example, regulatory framework and code of conduct are followed in financial and accounting while human resource code of conduct is developed from different perspective. Further, the impact of ethical behavior in finance is huge while ethical behavior in human resource has indirect but substantial impact on business operations.

Based on above discussion, it can be said that ethical behavior in management is a vicious circle. This is to say that during unfavorable times maintaining ethical behavior is difficult but it is also true that unethical behavior actually lead to downfall during extreme conditions and that those following ethical behavior in management tend to overcome the crisis in economy. Thus, ethics in management is a myth which is driven by the myth that unethical behavior can lead to benefits.
