Literature review is most important part of any research. It is often considered as one of the elements of secondary data. In the article “the impact of human resource management practices on turnover, productivity, and corporate financial performance”, the author MA Huselid comprehensively evaluated the links between the firm performance and systems of high performance work practices. He got the results of the research is based on a national sample of around one thousand companies. The study indicated that the work practices have a statistically and economically significant impact on the productivity and outcomes of the company and it also has the impact on the long term and short term measures of corporate financial performance.
Graham Dietz examines the links between the partnership forms of managing the workplace relationships in UK and it also examines the development of intra-organizational trust (Maykut and Morehouse, 1994). Partnership should produce, enhance and nurture the levels of interpersonal trust within organizations and the author described the trust as the thing which helps and legitimates the partnership of organizations. The qualitative research done by the author shows some kind of supports for the claimed linkages and it also highlights the weaknesses of partnership.
