Initially it was perceived that the ultimate target of a hacker has always been to focus on creating some kind of snooping, disrupting or destroying data, however initial objective was lot more different and it was basically focused on finding the gaps in the information system and taking it a next level which is more secure in nature. . Being hacker means that a person is an expert. However there is constant debate on the concept of white hat hacker as well. People in industry often debate that irrespective of the fact what these white hat hackers do, ultimately they are also human being and can any time use the same vulnerability to exploit the system. In fact white hat hackers at times are potentially more dangerous than the black hat hacker, because firstly they have inside-out knowledge of the information system which they are managing (James, 2014) Secondly they are completely aware of the loopholes of the system, and more importantly they know how to break a possible solution, as ultimately they are the one who has designed that. Hence even after one decade or so, the concept of white hat hackers is yet to receive complete acceptability among the industry people.
