The discussion is based on data collection and three forms of data collection methods were employed. Primarily online research was done to identify three restaurants that are in the vicinity of the client and the tourist spots around the restaurants and the location itself is discussed. Secondly elements of the client interview are discussed. The main elements are already discussed in the background. Finally, expert opinion is collected from a person who has visited the restaurants and also has much knowledge on the food festival. In order to ensure there is no bias, and this data is also critically analyzed by means of customer feedback opinions that are collected from websites such as Yelp. Comments and rating system of Yelp will be used.
3.1. Summary of findings
3.1.1. Online Research for Restaurants
In the online research for restaurants, as I would also be using my observational knowledge and knowledge of being in Vancouver, three restaurants were selected (based on the fact that they serve seafood) which are 1) Seasons restaurant (in the Elizabeth park, near downtown, which includes both a good view and an excellent menu), 2) Timmy Kitchen (in Richmond, is a famous Chinese restaurant, includes good viewpoints such as Fisherman’s Wharf and Steveston Village- famous scenic spots of Vancouver and fresh seafood) and the Top of Vancouver (located outside downtown but is the landmark of Vancouver).
