Meanwhile, in the year 2015, Netflix decided to expand them in China, but from the regulatory office of China, they faced a problem, in receiving the license. Netflix has to face this problem, because, China was trying to protect the domestic television and the film industry, so that they faces less competition (Keane, 2013). Even though the government supported the domestic television and film production companies, they have to face a tough competition from the companies such as Netflix (Winseck, 2011). They have to face this competition because in the past few years, the number of internet users has increase in China. The internet penetration has also increased in China over the past few years (Dominick, 2010).
