The second respondent was also keen about mobile technology and he said that he would like to use the same for the purpose of learning. He accepted that it is convenient for him to use the mobile phone to learn language at any place and at any time. But, he considered that mobile technology based learning process will not be able to replace the traditional style of learning in any manner. He said that there are a number of fields in which the traditional process of learning is very effective. So it can’t be replaced completely with mobile learning. He also accepted that mobile learning can be implemented in his school as it is the trend in the present times. They accepted that they will feel easy to understand any topic with the use of mobile technology in a very quick manner. He said that mobile learning is useful for language learning and he can easily find some of the new words and there meanings and can also talks with the friend who speaks different language.
The third respondents were also positive regarding the use of mobile technology. He even found the same to be quite interesting and appealing technology. He said that this technology is much more convenient to use and is interesting. He also said that that mobile technology can’t replace the traditional technology. He considered that the traditional learning culture is a heritage it can be replaced. He accepted that the school should use mobile technology as it will help the students to be more and more creative. Also, he said that mobile learning has been useful for him as it can save more time for the purpose of study.
Another respondent stated that mobile technology is helpful for learning a new language as it can help them to get more and more learning materials. The use of apps for the purpose of recalling a vocabulary is one such usage of the same. He accepted that mobile technology will not able to replace the traditional process of learning as in a number of aspects, traditional methods are very beneficial. He was also interested towards the use of mobile technology in schools. He stated that it can be used for more and more animals and can attract the learners. He added that mobile technology has been quite helpful for him and he can learn a new language without the same. He uses online dictionary and E-Books for some of the learning.
Another primary data source which was used for the interview included the use of survey. In order to do the same, a survey was conducted on 40 people. 11 one word or multiple choice questions were created for the survey. The survey was conducted on the youths as it was important to get the views of youths on mobile learning. The first two questions were to gain information about them. They were designed to know their actual age the place from where they belong. The next question was a one word answer if they prefer to use the mobile technology or traditional learning. If the respondents gave the answer as traditional, they were asked to leave the survey. If they answered mobile learning there were other questions. The next question was designed to know the effectiveness in the use of mobile technology over the other traditional methods. They were asked if the mobile technology can be much more effective than the traditional process of leaning. Further they were asked questions regarding the time spent by them for the use of mobile technology, the ways used by the mobile technology for the process of language learning and if the mobile technology is helpful for them. Also, it was asked if they want to have a class room which used mobile learning methods.
