Change management is defined as the specific approaches that are undertaken by a company to prepare and support individuals to accept and adapt to the impending changes. Changes are an integral aspect to any company as it is used to drive the company to achieve organizational success and outcomes. Companies have their own subjective change management schema to address the needs of the situation. These change managements are found to occur in three stages. It is the individual change management, initiative change management and enterprise change management. Individual change management requires the people to experience the change and adhere to the need of the project. This is focused on creating actionable framework to bring individual change in the company. The next level of change management is the changes that are brought on by the company to bring changes within a specific team. These must be the driving of successful transitions and finally enterprise change management is about development of the core competency of the company to adapt to the needs of the macro environmental factors. These change management techniques are found to depend on the culture of the company (Van de Ven, 2000). This is found to be in stark contrast between Chinese companies and the Western nations. In the modern globalist world, it is imperative to understand the heuristics of the process to develop change management techniques between the different companies operating in the region. There are many issues that each company need to handle in the current times. These are found to be region specific and certain issues are found to be global.
