Entrepreneurs are the owners of the business, now has the ability and responsibility to take care of the entire organization. The entrepreneur is the owner of his or her business who has the power to take decisions regarding the benefit of the organization. As per the concept of business strategy or organizational concept, an entrepreneur is a person who is holding the entity of the organization. The entrepreneur has the responsibility and duty for taking care of the entire organization in such a way so that the owner can motivate its employees well to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently.
In an organization, both manager and leader have different responsibility for taking care of the activities and overall performance of the organization in such a way so that the chances of error could be minimized (Antonakis & Day, 2017). The entrepreneur has the responsibility of the entire organization and has the responsibility to tackle down the issues or challenges faced by the employees at the workplace. It is assumedthat in the organization, if the entrepreneur is working as manager, then he or she has to take care of the discipline at the workplace. Bohoris & Vorria (2008) stated that the role of the manager is to take care of the organization by maintaining the level of discipline at the workplace. The managers must deliver the organizational rules and regulations to the employees and help them to manage those principles. The statement has deduced thatif the entrepreneurperforms as a manager in the organization, and then he or she has to focus on the principles of the organization (Little, Gooty & Williams, 2016). Besides, the entrepreneurhas to manage the workforce based on their working ability. As a manager, the entrepreneur has to focus on the work status and find the loopholes. If it has found that any of employees are not able to do his or her task on time, then he has the right to sack that employee from the organization (Wang et al., 2011).
On the other hand, as a leader, the responsibility of the owner would be different with the responsibility of the managers as the managers have to focus on the principles and proficiency of the entire organization. On the other side, the leader has the responsibility to take care of the interest of the employees and also has the responsibility to know the cause behind of that loophole or mistake (Sklaveniti, 2017). Mark Sanborn Keynote Leadership Speaker (2018) has defined that leaders are practical by nature and they can understand the emotions and feelings of others. Leaders have the quality to understand the situation in a better way compared to managers. In the following section, the difference between managers and leaders would be explained by using relevant sources.
