Filmography Career:
Bruce Lee began his early career as an actor, in the film Golden Gate Girl, as an American baby at 3 months of age. He came to be known as a baby actor in nearly 20 movies.
Because he was engaged in fighting in 1959, his mother decided him to send back to the United States with some friends as she found that the place, they were living was not safe for him. Bruce completed his high school graduate studies from Edison, Washington and then enrolled for studying philosophy at University of Washington. He started his career as a teacher of Martial Arts there and during this time, he came in contact with Linda Emery, his future wife.
Bruce was in American headlines while acting in the Green Homet, a television series, in 1966-67, serving as Homet’s close associate, Kato, showing off his film friendly fighting style. This served as his introduction to American mainstream. During times, the acting stereotypes were the hurdles which made him to return back to Hong Kong in 1971. He made awesome acting contributions in the movies like Fists of Fury, The Chinese Connection and Way of the Dragon and became a shining star.
Enter the Dragon, the movie released after one month of Bruce Lee’s death, made him a superstar in America leading to a gross income worth over $200 million.
